Artist Priscilla Smith announced that her photographic series ˈsēkrit/ is featured in a solo exhibition at the Czong Institute of Contemporary Art, South Korea.Priscilla Smith is an internationally exhibited artist who photographs domestic and studio tableaus utilizing the figure, children’s toys, and animal elements. Priscilla's series was chosen through an international juried review in July, 2017 by Czong Institute of Contemporary Art’s Art Director Leejin Kim. Kim considered work from over 100 artists for a series of solo exhibitions in the museum’s galleries. ˈsēkrit/ opens December 5th with an Artists reception Saturday, December 9th. While in South Korea for the exhibition, Priscilla will pursue her creative research until December 21st.The artist says about the exhibition: "I am thrilled by the opportunity to exhibit at CICA in South Korea. It is an honor to have my work represented through the selection process conducted by Art Director Leejin Kim. ˈsēkrit/ is an ongoing series drawing from personal objects and cultural experiences. It seems this work is relevant to societies impoverished by collusion and “alternative facts”. "
