​PETER WILLIAMS, an African-American artist and amputee, explores issues of race and identity in America, his own personal experiences, and a world of fantasy, fear and delight in his richly nuanced paintings.  His lush, painterly storytelling reveals a deeply resonant social critique that is both humorous and deadly serious.​
