Experience culture, create art, and exhibit your work in Berlin.
Beginning with two weeks in Vienna students will experience art from,
among others, Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, works from the Secessionist
movement, as well as stunning architecture. The next two weeks will be
spent in Berlin, home to a stimulating international artistic
community, and currently considered one of the most important
contemporary art scenes in the world. Vienna and Berlin are cities rich
in cultural history and thriving contemporary art scenes and both
provide great opportunities for the young artist and/or intellectually
curious.
This is an interrogative travel experience with different
approaches to drawing and recording the observed environment (as it
relates to cultural and self perception) explored, as well as the
production of a report in the form of a journal, artist's book, blog or
website; this work will be assembled by the student for exhibition at a
gallery space in Berlin.
