Application to the MA IxD program is a two-part process that requires presentation of a portfolio in addition to general University of Delaware admission procedures. We select a maximum of 10 students a year to create a small, diverse and well supported cohort of students in the program.

We are currently offering a 50% Discount from the offical tuition rate for qualified applicants. The discounted tuition for 2018-2019 academic year was $913.50 per credit. The program is 30 credits. Part-time is 15 credits a year.
1. Applicants must complete the online application through the Office of Graduate & Professional Education, including transcripts, resumé or C.V. and three letters of recommendation. Once you have submitted your application you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours.
2. After you have submitted your application to the MA Interaction Design program with the Office of Graduate & Professional Education you must either: (1) submit a portfolio online via: http://udart.slideroom.com, or (2) send a PDF via an online file transfer service to firstname.lastname@example.org.
3. You will be notified from the University regarding an offer for admission to the program, including details and a timeline for accepting this offer, if applicable.
IxD students are generally self-funded, however there are some opportunities available for employment at the University which significantly reduces the financial commitment required. Additionally, there are some funding opportunities from the Office of Graduate & Professional Education. Information regarding funding awards and opportunties will be included in the offer for admission to the program.
