All undergraduate
applicants offered acceptance to the Department are considered for the
Calloway Scholarship ranging from $2,000 to $6,000 per year. The
criteria:
Academic merit, as
determined by the various aspects of the admissions process with more
than half of the accepted art majors qualifying for academic merit.
Artistic talent, which is determined by the ranking from the Department Portfolio Review Committee
Financial need, as determined by the FAFSA process
All undergraduate financial aid and scholarship programs are managed and decided by the Office of Student Financial Services.
Graduate

​The University of Delaware offers generous financial aid assistance to graduate
students. The Department of Art & Design is able to give
merit-based Graduate Teaching Assistantships (tuition waiver plus a
stipend in exchange for teaching and service) and Block Tuitions
(tuition waiver plus the possibility of adjunct teaching). The
Department works diligently to help support our MFA students and has,
historically, been able to fund nearly three-quarters of our students.
