Biography
William Deering currently teaches Advertising and Photographic Design
in the Visual Communications program, Department of Art & Design at
the University of Delaware, directs Raven Press (Letter Press
facility), the study abroad programs to London, England, Paris France
and the Internship program.
His photography projects have taken him throughout the United
States, Europe and the Far East for Advertising, Design, Corporate
clients and personal projects.
His many awards over the years have included: the American
Institute of Graphic Arts, The Art Directors Club of New York,
Communication Arts; Print, The One Club, and the Society of Publication
Designers. Is represented worldwide by Getty Images International, in
New York, Settle, London and Paris and is continuing his work on "The
Uncertainty Terror" which was shown at the Eckersley Gallery at the
University of the Arts in London.
Bill is the past director of the Cape May Center for
Photography, Cape May, NJ, and is a past Chairman of the education
committee, AIGA / Philadelphia and lives and maintains a studio and home
with his daughter in Wilmington, Delaware.
